Returns Policy

ENGRAVED OR PERSONALISED ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN UNLESS FAULTY.

30-Day Returns Policy

We offer a 30-day returns policy. You have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition in which it was received, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at hello@cuttingboards.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without contacting us first will not be accepted.

Please always quote your original order number when contacting us.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately (within 24 hours of receipt) if the item is defective, damaged, or you have received the wrong item. We will review the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Personalised, engraved, or custom-made items (unless faulty or damaged)

  • Gift cards

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return the original item. Once the return is approved, you can place a new order for the replacement item.

UK Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-off Period)

If you are a UK customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (excluding personalised or engraved items).

You must notify us within 14 days if you wish to cancel. You then have another 14 days to return the goods.

Items must be returned in a condition suitable for resale. You may handle the product to inspect it as you would in a shop, but may be responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond this.

EU 14-Day Cooling-off Period

Customers in the European Union also have a 14-day right to cancel an order for any reason. This excludes personalised or engraved items unless faulty.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. If the refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
